So why are we so content to come second?
Why are we so afraid to shine?
Why is it when people succeed we hate on them?
Why are we so jealous when people seem to be happy and free from worry?
Because everything starts with us. Whenever we are jealous of someone else or hate someone for doing well, we are just angry at ourselves for not doing what we know we should be doing.
It’s easier to look out than to look in.
It’s easy to blame than to take responsibility for our choices. Being average and settling for less has become acceptable but it doesn’t have to be.
If you want to achieve too much you’re labeled as greedy. If you think outside the box you’re a dreamer. If you’re not a people pleaser you’re labeled a bad person.
I think it’s insane when family mistreat each other and think they can get away with it because they are family.
Unfortunately, the biggest haters and critics are the people closest to you. They are the people who should be building you up when you go out to take on the world not bringing you down.
Remember a drunk can’t show you how to be sober. Unhappy people can’t teach you how to be happy. Find your tribe. Don’t surround yourself with average and wonder why you are not being exceptional.
Average doesn’t have to be the norm.
Make the change and own it, don’t wait for it.
Yes! Reminds me of how we only get better at what we practice. If we practice negativity, we become masters of it! Thanks for your thoughtful
