We all know someone – they go on a vacation and complain the whole time.

If it’s not the service, it’s the people. If it’s not the people, it’s the food. If it’s not the food, it’s the weather. Like the songs goes from the crowded house, a great Aussie band – everywhere you go, you always take the weather with you. We carry the storm clouds in our minds.

I had a friend that won 300K in the lottery and complained about having to pay taxes on Fred’s money.

Before we start complaining, we need to ask ourselves – is it us or our surroundings? That which we can’t change, can’t be worried over.

We need to be grateful and content with what we have if we are to find any peace and happiness.

So the next time, your way on a trip or catching a flight that’s delayed, remember you are lucky enough to afford the vacation and lucky enough to afford a plane ticket.

There are plenty of people that are worst off.
